"Hanami" for Windows 95/98/NT makes cherry blossoms fall on your 
desktop, in between and on windows, with the flowers gradually 
building up on your windows, while you work! Also included in this
distribution is the screen saver version. (You do not have to register
the screen saver separately.)

"Hanami" is what in Japan is called "cherry blossom viewing" in spring.

Install/Uninstall
-----------------

There is no need to install or uninstall "Hanami", the program
does not require DLL's to be installed or uninstalled. You can
delete the folder with the application without problems.

The screen saver can be installed by copying the file "Hanami 
screen saver" to the directory called "Windows" if you use 
Windows 95/98, or "Winnt" if you use Windows NT. Then, open the 
Display control panel from Settings and choose Hanami as your 
screen saver. Optionally you can select a picture to be displayed
on your desktop.


Color
-----

Hanami requires a system capable of displaying more than 256 colors, 
else some colors may be lost, and will be replaced by grey. An 
alternative 256-color version is included in this distribution. The 
screen saver comes in two versions too, one for 256-color systems, 
the other for systems capable of displaying more than 256 colors.


Distribution and copyright
--------------------------

Hanami is not public domain software, all rights are reserved. 
However, distribution of the complete package, as is, including 
the register program and the accompanying documentation, is allowed 
freely. 


Registration
------------

"Hanami" is a shareware program (US$ 10,-), which you can pay for 
via Kagi (www.kagi.com). You will be sent a purchase confirmation 
and a registration code by Kagi. You can enter this code and your 
name in the window that appears when you click the button "Register". 
Registration and purchase is once-only, you can download new versions
without having to register again. The screen saver is included in the
registration.
